Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently, Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol client sites to ensure safety and security
• Enforce regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the area
• Provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers
• Respond to emergencies and assist in crisis management

Requirements

• 4 years of Security experience necessary
• Military or Law Enforcement background considered a plus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Passing score on a background check

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures
• Physical fitness and stamina for patrolling various locations
