Operator - Clinical Trial Distribution Warehouse Operation

Key Responsibilities

• Unload, put-a-way, pick, pack and ship CTFG’s.
• This includes interaction with warehouse management system via a hand held RF device.
• Pack orders following strict validated packing requirements.
• Comply with FDA, GMP, GDP, DOT, IATA, TSA, C-TPAT and OSHA requirements.
• Avoidance of training plan is current and complete.
• Understand and accurately follow corporate and departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), local and federal laws and regulations, Lilly Ethics & Compliance requirements, and operational qualifications related to operator role.
• Actively adhere to and engage in safety programs and policies within the area of responsibility.
• Constantly look for areas of improvement in safety, compliance, data accuracy and efficiency.
• Support strategic portfolio needs and projects as assigned.

Other Responsibilities

• May Include Ordering of warehouse consumables.
• Special Projects.
• Labeling of product.
• Cycle Counting.
• Destruction processes.
• Communication with freight forwarder personnel.

Basic Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehousing and distribution.

Additional Requirements

• Completion of Post Offer Exam or Completion of Work Simulation if applicable.
• Completion of Warehouse Management Systems experience.

Experience Requirements

• Warehouse experience including previous experience operating powered industrial trucks.
• Willingness to be flexible and willing to be cross-trained to perform multiple assignments.
• Willingness to work in a chilled environment (5c).
• Willingness to work overtime with minimal notice.
• Demonstrated good work attendance history.
• Demonstrated high productivity rate in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizing/multi-tasking skills.
• Strong computer skills.
