About the role

Vitalant seeks a Facility Resource Coordinator to contribute to the organization's life-saving mission. The ideal candidate will oversee warehouse supplies, vehicles, and facility requirements, ensuring proper maintenance, repair, and environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to Vitalant's life-saving mission by overseeing the coordination of warehouse supplies, vehicles, and facility requirements.
  • Ensure proper maintenance, repair, and environmental conditions of buildings and grounds.
  • Support management in achieving collection goals and ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to monitor work orders, provide proper work direction, and ensure maintenance and repairs are carried out.
  • Maintain building utility functions, uphold cleanliness, and create a conducive working environment for employees.
  • Manage warehouse inventory levels, including reordering and stocking.
  • Load and unload supplies and products.
  • Manage procurement, requisitioning, inspection and quality control of materials and supplies.
  • Keep facility vehicles in optimal condition by conducting evaluations, scheduling preventative maintenance and repairs, and ensuring annual inspections within DOT compliance, maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid in-state driver's license required.
  • Six months of related experience required.
  • Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills required.
  • Must have proficient computer skills.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend written procedures and instructions.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts.
  • Must have good customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to lift 40 lbs.
