About the role

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, dayshift with some overtime and callout.

Responsibilities

• Perform mainline operations of pumping units and operate refined product pumps
• Perform product sampling, run samples for analysis on in house lab equipment; measure location physical stock, meters, and additive variances
• Gauge products transferred to and from tanks, trucks, rail cars, and pipelines
• Perform valve lineups, switch and tank changes as required to move products in and out of storage
• Input information into computer programs and other system applications as required
• Maintain location appearance, repair and replace equipment, maintain facility in exemplary compliance
• Perform tank inspections, make analyses of tank contents and prepare records as required, make routine daily inspection of facilities
• Absorb and perform truck rack operations, and rail car offloading duties
• Perform general maintenance responsibilities as directed, and assist area technicians as requested
• Oversee contractors and process invoices
• Work in a safe manner, following company safety policies and programs
• Responsible for other projects and assignments as directed
• Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's Degree in Petroleum Tech or related field preferred
• One to three years industry experience is preferred

Qualifications

• Ability to: establish, prioritize assignments and complete assignments in a timely manner with supervision
• Ability to: interact, negotiate, communicate and/or exchange written and verbal information and instructions
• Ability to: use tools and equipment including computers and related software
• Ability to: apply basic arithmetic to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
