Operator Assistant

Job Description

To ensure that product is being inspected for quality including, size, gauge and roll formation quality prior to shipment to customer. Accurate packaging and data collection for each order. Each employee considers food safety and consumer safety while preforming work. Participates in GMP and food safety training. Follows GMP policy. Reports all food safety concerns with urgency.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: HS Diploma or GED is preferred
• Required Knowledge: Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience Required: None, on the job training is provided
• Ongoing training and education are essential to continue to improve work processes

Skills/Abilities

• Ability to read a tape measure
• Basic math skills required
• Good communication skills required
• Ability to pass a color-blind test
• Sometime previous computer data entry preferred

Performance Measurements

• Quality of product shipped
• Attendance
• Ability to help other lines
• Cleanliness of work area

Hours of Employment

Employees are expected to work 12-hour shifts that are on a monthly rotation schedule. The shifts are currently from 7 AM - 7 PM (day shift), and 7 PM - 7 AM (night shift).
