Operator Assembly/Press & Bench

Duties/Responsibilities

• Operate various presses to produce quality parts as required.
• Perform numerous assembling and bench operations as required.
• Performs PDQ inspections.
• Inspects and sorts parts as required.
• Affords assistance in other departments as time permits.
• Operates auxiliary equipment as needed.
• Maintain lot and scrap control.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Must be able to perform basic assembly functions containing small parts.
• Experienced in use of measuring and magnification equipment.
• Able to work well with tweezers.
• Able to work in a team atmosphere.
• Pactices good housekeeping.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting/standing.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
