Operator 2, Bakery- Packing L7 - 2nd Shift

About the role

We are seeking an Operator 2, Bakery-Packing to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery location. As an Operator 2, you will be accountable for supporting daily packaging operations by ensuring products are packed accurately, safely, and in compliance with quality, food safety, and regulatory standards while contributing to efficient line performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute packaging, labeling, palletizing, and case assembly operations to meet daily production plans
• Operate packaging equipment and support basic adjustments and changeovers
• Ensure product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance through inspections and monitoring
• Verify accuracy of labels, lot codes, barcodes, dates, and packaging documentation
• Complete required production, quality, and inventory records accurately and on time
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with GMP and safety standards
• Collaborate with supervisors, QA, maintenance, and teammates to support efficient operations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing or packaging experience
• Basic math skills (whole numbers, fractions, decimals)
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn company systems
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written)
• Ability to perform physical job requirements, including standing for extended periods and lifting with assistance

Qualifications

• Food manufacturing experience
• Forklift certification
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
