Operator 2, Bakery - Mixer Assistant- 1st Shift
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and adjust bakery production equipment.
- Monitor product quality and food safety standards.
- Complete production records and documentation accurately.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Identify and report equipment or production issues.
- Support equipment startups, changeovers, and daily production activities.
- Follow GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and established recipes/processes.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Basic equipment troubleshooting skills.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
- Strong communication and observation skills.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Computer skills.
- Food manufacturing experience.
- Experience with automated production equipment.
- Familiarity with production schedules, changeovers, and run orders.
Candidate Fit
A strong candidate would have manufacturing experience, be comfortable working around production machinery in a fast-paced environment, have basic mechanical aptitude, and be willing to work evenings and weekends while following strict food safety and quality standards.
