About the role

Vishay Montevideo is seeking an Operator 1 to join their team. The position is based in Montevideo, MN, near popular local businesses like McDonald's and NAPA.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components, connect component lead wires, assemble and attach hardware
• Perform operations such as crimping, soldering, cementing, press fitting, and trimming materials to achieve desired electrical characteristics
• Operate equipment for alignment, masking, potting, encapsulating, epoxy application, and color coding
• Read and follow work orders, production drawings, and sample assemblies

Requirements

• Positive attendance history and reliability
• Excellent finger dexterity
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality parts
• Ability to work in a team environment

Qualifications

• Resume required for consideration
• Pay: $17/hr
• Hours: Monday-Thursday 7a-4:30p, Friday 7a-11a
