Operations Workstation Controller, Senior
About the role
As an Operations Workstation Controller, Senior, you will provide expert simulation control for Warfighter Exercises (WFX), apply Rules and Work Arounds, supervise work cells and response cells, ensure realistic constructive simulations via WARSIM and JLCCTC platforms, and work closely with Senior Red Control and the Exercise Control Group (ECG) to ensure WARSIM conditions facilitate training.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert simulation control for Warfighter Exercises (WFX)
- Apply Rules and Work Arounds
- Supervise work cells and response cells
- Ensure realistic constructive simulations via WARSIM and JLCCTC platforms
- Work closely with Senior Red Control and the Exercise Control Group (ECG) to ensure WARSIM conditions facilitate training
- Develop and train new hire workstation controllers
- Oversee the constructive training work we do and the solutions we deliver for the Army's warfighter program
Requirements
- Experience as a field grade officer, including Warrant Officer W-4/5 or Sergeant Major E9
- Experience serving in a key developmental position at brigade or battalion level such as Executive Officer, S-3, or Operations Sergeant Major
- Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with current Army and Joint regulation and publications
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Completion of Military Education Level (MEL4) CGSC, Warrant Officer Senior Service Education (WOSSE), or Sergeants Major Course (SMC)
Qualifications
- Experience as a Colonel O-5 or above
- Experience serving on Division or Corps level staff positions
- Nice to have: Experience as a Colonel O-5 or above

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
