Operations Worker - 2nd Shift (10am-7pm)

About the role

This entry-level Operations Worker position supports our Ethanol production team, focusing on DDGS loadout, inspection, and general facility operations. Training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection activities such as probing trucks
• Operate grain handling and receiving equipment; provide customer service to drivers and perform data entry of shipment details
• Monitor equipment and processes to identify issues; resolve or escalate as necessary
• Operate various types of mobile equipment
• Assist with the safe movement of railcars for product loading
• Perform general housekeeping tasks such as sweeping and maintaining clean work areas

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical labor, working outdoors, and are comfortable working at elevated heights and in confined spaces.

Requirements

• Minimal job-related experience required; work is prescribed and completed with close supervision
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Previous grain operations experience preferred
• Ability to operate mobile equipment and/or a valid driver’s license preferred

Physical Requirements and Working Environment

• Work is performed in a 24/7 ethanol production facility
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends during high-demand periods
• Must be able to stand/sit for extended periods
• Frequently lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds
• Ability to climb, stoop, and kneel at heights up to 180 feet
• Works indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures
• Working conditions may include dust, fumes, moderate noise, and uneven surfaces
