Machine Operator 2nd Shift (2pm to 10pm)
About the Role
This full-time, non-exempt position operates on the 2nd shift (2pm - 10pm) within the Production department, reporting to the Production Supervisor. The role is based in Loveland, CO.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machines according to production specifications
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure product quality and consistency
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues with the machinery
- Follow all safety, conduct, and attendance rules
- Adhere to assigned work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals
- Accurately enter information into production systems
- Inspect materials, products, and/or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
- Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure operations conform to production or processing standards
- Consistently follow specifications, job orders, and company policies and procedures
- Ensure your work area complies with safety and sanitation regulations
Requirements
- High school graduate; minimum of 1 year of direct industrial experience is preferred
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to efficiently multi-task
- Must be a team-player and self-motivated
- Must be detail-oriented
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Required to talk, hear, stand, and walk
- Must stand on your feet to work for several hours at a time
- Must correctly and safely lift, move, sort, place, and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- Required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel, grasp, reach, lift, push, and pull
- Occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
The production environment is typical of many indoor manufacturing facilities. This is a "Safety First" facility where P.P.E. gear is mandatory with no exceptions. The noise level is moderate, but hearing protection may be required when using certain equipment. Employees frequently work on or around moving and heated equipment, sometimes with extreme temperatures.
This role may require working near industrial equipment that can generate electromagnetic fields (EMF). Exposure to EMFs may affect certain implanted medical devices. Pay
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour.
Schedule
2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM).
