About the role

The IL Operations Training Specialist I supports the overall development of various positions by ensuring appropriate metrics are met and by using observations and data to determine areas of improvement. This role coordinates with Internal Legal departments to address task-specific training requirements while ensuring strict alignment with Corporate Legal Leadership Standards. The Operations Training Specialist I facilitates learning and development initiatives using a variety of training methods and tools, delivers guidance and feedback on performance expectations, and ensures assigned work groups provide correct information and follow proper procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted coaching, feedback, and operational direction to assigned legal support teams (30%).
  • Plan and construct coaching and interactions with assigned work groups daily using the internal legal leadership model to review casework accuracy, compliance metrics, and productivity trends (30%).
  • Participate in new hire training and onboarding for legal assistants, paralegals, and operations staff (25%).
  • Complete training assignments as directed by Manager (5%).
  • Partner with Internal Legal Managers to create developmental plans (5%).
  • Perform other duties, as assigned (5%).

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in an Account Manager or related role

Skills

  • Skilled in Outlook and Excel
  • Knowledge of organizational infrastructure and adult behavioral patterns
  • Ability to work independently with some direction from colleagues and management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to train and facilitate trainings to groups

  • Education: Associate's degree
  • Field of Study: Communications, Public Speaking, Organizational Development
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in an Account Manager or related role
