Overview
Entry‑level power plant operations and/or maintenance position.
Responsibilities
- Be knowledgeable of and follow all safety rules, procedures, and practices.
- Actively participate in and successfully complete assigned training and development activities and requirements.
- In normal performance of duties, watch for and promptly report to supervision any damaged or defective equipment or conditions which may cause damage or injury.
- Perform duties of lower or higher classifications that are incidental to the job and are within capabilities, including those needed for training toward higher classification requirements.
- Keep all equipment, tools, materials, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
- Perform work in a responsible and cooperative manner to facilitate a positive working environment.
- Represent the Company to the community with attention to the highest standards of conduct, appearance, and attitude.
Qualifications
- Meet all general qualifications of employment.
- Be able and willing to comply with all safety rules.
- Be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the job.
- Possess the willingness and ability to acquire necessary knowledge and skills to advance to higher classifications.
- Successfully complete all required testing and training programs promulgated by the company.
