About the role
The Operations Technician - Grain Elevator/Scale is responsible for maintaining and operating grain handling equipment at a facility.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate grain handling equipment
- Monitor and adjust scales and elevators to ensure accurate measurements
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of related experience in grain handling or similar field
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using grain handling equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor
