Operations Technician

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and operate various machines in the facility.
  • Follow procedures for proper startup and shutdown of equipment.
  • Verify all equipment and tooling are in proper location and operational at the start and end of each shift.
  • Adjust operational parameters to achieve production and quality requirements.
  • Set up various production runs according to work order specifications.
  • Cook up coordinate shift changes with other shifts to ensure the seamless operation of the workstation without interruption.
  • Comply with safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements.

Requirements

  • Equipment operator experience- internal or similar manufacturing using computer controlled automated equipment
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Forklift operation
  • Team Player
  • Ability to work with cross functional team

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • An associate degree or technical training certificate is preferred.

Unusual Physical Requirements

  • Standing and walking for an extended period of time.
  • Wearing protective gear.
  • Handling and moving objects - up to 50 pounds.
  • Inspecting equipment and materials.

Starting Wages

Starting wages range from $20.00 to $28.00, depending on experience.

Schedule

This role requires working 12-hour shifts, alternating between day and night shifts, with 3 days on, 2 days off, and 2 days on, 3 days off.
