About the role
The Warehouse Operations Systems Planner ensures the fulfillment center has the system support, processes, and training required to achieve operational objectives. This role coordinates between systems, fulfillment center, and operations teams to develop and maintain detailed functional requirements and operational process flows. You will prioritize and manage the delivery, functional testing, and implementation of new functionality and enhancements; manage and validate data integrity; and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for continual improvement within the operation and system functionality.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for WMS system setup, configurations, and launching of new clients.
- Work with WMS (Logiwa, Manhattan Active) and OMS (Pipe 17) for troubleshooting and resolving warehouse management system (WMS) and warehouse control system (WCS) issues.
- Interact directly with clients regarding WMS/WCS needs and provide updates during client and operational meetings.
- Understand system configurations as they relate to and impact client billing.
- Monitor all conveyance and automation systems to ensure proper workflow.
- Assist in testing for system modifications and walk through the process operationally prior to install.
- Document all system changes, exception reporting for all warehouse functions, root cause analysis, and problem-solving.
- Create detailed SOPs for any changes to physical/systemic setup driven by the business.
- Lead and execute project work as well as client requests (promos, quality and inventory checks, slotting updates, research).
- Create/update slotting matrix used by Wave Planners to aid in making proper replenishment transactions.
- Monitor aged inventory transactions and investigate as needed.
- Work on Change Carrier (orders that need to be re-rate shopped interfaced to the WMS).
- Research and assist with SKU issues, including auditing item profiles and on-hand inventory.
- Assist IT and Maintenance with operational sorter issues involving trays, chutes, scanners, and systems.
- Assist with systems user setup, password resets, and training.
- Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment, working with conveyor sortation and other automation.
- Experience working with Logiwa and Manhattan Active WMS and Pipe 17 OMS reporting and troubleshooting preferred.
- SQL experience required.
- Computer skills: MS Office Suite, Smartsheet, and email etiquette required.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- High School diploma or GED.

This position is not remote. Travel is not required.
