About the role
Provides HAZMAT-focused operations support to ONR Code 32 programs, including hazardous materials shipping and CONUS/OCONUS logistics. Supports the integration, demonstration, and transition of S&T programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage HAZMAT shipping including batteries, power systems, and gasses, and knowledge of brokering, customs, and CARNET regulations
- Support CONUS/OCONUS shipping including HAZMAT shipping
- Support the integration, demonstration, and transition of S&T programs
- Coordinate across Navy and Marine Corps warfare areas
- Support operational and program security plans for staff and equipment during field events
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Five (5) years of experience with DoD R&D programs, field testing and evaluation, and data analysis
- Certifications for HAZMAT shipping, particularly batteries, power systems, and gasses
- Verifiable certifications or experience staging (forklift, flatbed, crane operations, electrical technicians, etc.)
Qualifications
- Experience in Navy ERP or similar SAP experience (desired)
