About the role
The Operations Support Specialist provides short- and long-term support to properties across the Jones Street Residential portfolio as operational needs arise. This position is not assigned to one specific property but instead serves as a flexible resource to provide leadership coverage during staffing transitions, vacancies, onboarding periods, or special initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as interim Community Manager at properties in need of temporary leadership coverage.
- Ensure day-to-day operations meet company standards, including leasing, maintenance coordination, resident relations, and financial management.
- Support onboarding and training of new property team members, reinforcing company policies, systems, and expectations.
- Partner with regional and corporate teams on special projects and process rollouts, including contributing to the documentation of standard operating procedures and best practices.
- Maintain flexibility in assignment duration and location, responding to portfolio needs as determined by the SVP of Property Operations.
Requirements
- Comfortable working independently across multiple sites, quickly integrating into existing teams, and maintaining high performance and customer service expectations across all properties.
- Deep understanding of Jones Street Residential’s operational standards.
- Adaptability, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of Jones Street Residential’s operational standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in property management or a related field.
- Experience in managing day-to-day operations, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Regular travel to properties as needed.
