Responsibilities

  • Request and prepare legal documents using the firm’s case management system.
  • Reference court websites to obtain status updates on pending cases and accurately record the information.
  • E-file complaints, motions, and other legal documents with the appropriate courts.
  • Update the case management system with judgment information and other relevant case details.
  • Copy, scan, and organize documents to maintain complete and accurate case files.
  • Manage client correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
  • Handle a high volume of work efficiently while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Maintain strict discretion when working with highly confidential matters and documents.
  • Multi-task effectively and respond to changing priorities as requested.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth case progression and resolution.

Qualifications

  • Prior data entry experience is ideal and strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in a professional office or customer service environment is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and use case management or similar systems.
  • Interest in legal operations, administrative support, or accounting-related career paths.
  • Proactive mindset with a desire for long-term growth and advancement within the organization.

Work Environment

This role is fully onsite and follows an 8-hour shift within the operating hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Start times can be flexible (for example, 8:00 or 9:00 a.m.), provided the selected schedule is consistent and adhered to. The environment is a professional office setting that relies on computers, Microsoft Office, and a case management system for daily tasks. The work involves sustained periods of typing, data entry, document preparation, and interaction with confidential information. About the Role

The Operations Support Specialist plays an integral role in supporting the firm’s case processes by managing client correspondence, preparing and tracking legal documents, and ensuring accurate updates to case records. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
