About the role

The incumbent provides analytical and technical clerical services in support of the day-to-day operations of the section under the supervision of the Administrator I over Unit 3 in Executive and Advocate Services (EAS).

Responsibilities

  • Uses program knowledge to provide support ensuring the section responds to and resolves incoming contacts timely.
  • Works independently or in a team environment, demonstrating good organization and time management skills.
  • Performs multiple competing tasks.

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, case creation, and recordkeeping.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Experience using office equipment such as copiers, scanners, fax machines, and multifunction devices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and follow detailed procedures, policies, and workflow instructions.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and strong work habits.
  • Customer service skills and the ability to respond professionally to internal and external customers.
  • Experience maintaining logs, tracking sheets, or other workflow documentation.
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
  • Experience working multiple workloads with competing priorities.
  • Experience with inventory tracking, supply coordination, or maintaining office materials.
