Job Details
Minimum (2) years of high-volume office administration experience. Transit/Transportation experience preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent. Proven experience with contract interpretation required. Prior union contract administration experience preferred. Well versed on employment practices. Must have prior experience creating and analyzing various data reports. Computer literate to include intermediate experience with MS Office products.

Key Accountabilities
- Ensures proper enforcement, management and follow-up of Bus Operator attendance through established Attendance Tracking Systems.
- Covers return-to-work meetings and attendance counseling sessions.
- Tracks FMLA, ADA accommodations, sick leave, and other protected leave considerations in coordination with Human Resources, ensures proper application of leave type balances.
- Compiles complete and accurate information needed for management in the issuance of corrective action notices.
- Ensures accurate filing and maintenance of discipline and grievance files.
- Prepares weekly and monthly reports for management.
- Collects and organizes information from the various departments to create the presentation for the employee electronic communication boards.
- Affords assistance with events and projects associated with organizational culture development.
- Coordinates, tracks and secures items left on the bus by customers, as well as serves as the customer point of contact for the lost and found program.
- Manages office inventory and works with vendors to ensure regular supply of office materials.
- Maintains integrity in dealing with internal and external customers.
- Prepares department performance reporting with the local management team including the tracking of key metrics for monthly reports to our client.

Safety
- Ensures that the Road Traffic Safety Management System (RTSMS) conforms to the requirements.
- Ensures that the RTSMS processes are delivering their intended outputs.
- Reports to management on the performance of the RTSMS and on opportunities for improvement and on the need for change or innovation.
- Ensures the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization.
- Ensures the integrity of the RTSMS is maintained, when any changes to RTSMS are planned and implemented.
Physical Demands And Work Environment
- Long periods (potentially exceeding 8 hours per day) of walking, standing, sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, lifting, balancing, stooping, twisting, squatting, handling materials, repetitive hand-wrist motions, and traversing uneven surfaces.
- Exposure to both extreme heat and cold.
- Exposure to loud noises, fumes, and airborne particles.
