About the role

This 12+ month comprehensive warehouse operations program provides hands-on training across all departments—Inbound, Picking, Packing, Outbound, Transportation, and support teams. After mastering each area, you will lead a process-improvement project in collaboration with department supervisors and managers. Upon completion, you will be assigned to supervise your own department within warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully train on and operate all warehouse equipment: sit-down and stand-up forklifts, order pickers, electric pallet jacks, and overhead crane.
  • Process inbound and outbound work proficiently.
  • Oversee facility and equipment maintenance and supplies during applicable rotations.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure safety compliance.
  • Maintain and manage Safety, Quality standards, and processes.
  • Lead a process-improvement project in each department, from coordination through execution and final presentation.
  • Ensure proper staffing to execute varied work volumes during applicable rotations.
  • Work closely with Leads and Team Members to complete projects on time.
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly safety, quality, and productivity reporting.
  • Supervise realignment activities to optimize facility operations.
  • Provide leadership, training, and supervision to approximately 20 team members during applicable rotations.
  • Continuously develop leadership capabilities and professional growth of the team.
  • Conduct research, root-cause analysis, communicate findings, and recommend solutions to improve warehouse inventory health.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Supply Chain or Operations Management strongly preferred.
  • Zero to five years of relevant work experience preferred.
  • Experience in a leadership role supervising up to 10 employees preferred.
  • Lean Manufacturing principles a plus.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs.
  • Strong knowledge of Distribution and Warehouse Management applications and Project Management.
  • Demonstrated leadership and managerial abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a proven record of self-motivation and achievement.
  • Proactive with strong analytical skills.
  • Creativity in seeking quality solutions and process improvements.
  • Excellent people-management and time-management skills.

This is a safety-sensitive position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM, with 2 Saturdays per month from 07:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Pay

This hourly, non-exempt position pays $23 to $26 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires typically earn between $73,700 and $83,400 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.
