Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and assign work activities in a manufacturing or distribution department.
  • Support and implement policies and procedures.
  • Recommend improvements in operation methods, equipment, people, materials, and working conditions.

Qualifications

  • 2 years in a manufacturing or distribution center environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in Supervisory Management or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in supervision desired.
  • Experience in manufacturing or warehouse equipment and department processes desired.

Work Environment

  • Moderate to high noise levels.
  • Temperature variations.
  • Material handling equipment in operation.
  • Extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots.
  • Time-sensitive and safety sensitive operations.
  • Variety of shift schedules to support production and distribution needs.
