Operations Supervisor - Brighton, CO/ Weekend 2nd shift

About the role

In this role, you will lead a team and have general responsibility for coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop the performance of your team through effective training, coaching, and motivational strategies
• Support with the automation technology process
• Drive a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel safe, valued, and included
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide timely feedback to team members
• Implement strategies to ensure the highest quality of work, optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity, and meet or exceed KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
• Ensure safe operations and healthy environments for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors
• Help maintain the security of the warehouse and assure the integrity of inventory
• Be flexible to work overtime and perform other responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
• 2 or more years in a supervisory role
• At least 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Term-Limited Position Notice: This position is for temporary, term-limited employment for up to 5 months (August 2026 through January 2027), after which, the role will be discontinued. Selected individuals may have the opportunity to apply for other roles within Kuehne + Nagel Inc. They may also be considered for rehire during a future term (August 2027 through January 2028).
