Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to bring out the best in his/her team. This role involves ensuring efficient daily operations of the warehouse, preparing schedules, supervising the team, providing training and coaching, monitoring work quality, demonstrating an understanding of the company quality policy, adhering to the GXO 7S program, communicating with leadership, team members, and other departments, and implementing continuous improvement action plans.

• Ensure efficient daily operations of the warehouse
• Prepare schedules
• Supervise the team and provide training and coaching to improve performance
• Maintain a clean environment
• Monitor work quality to consistently deliver exceptional customer service
• Demonstrate an understanding of the company quality policy
• Adhere to the GXO 7S program
• Communicate well with leadership, team members, and other departments
• Implement continuous improvement action plans

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Computerized scanner equipment experience
• Flexibility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and planned/unplanned overtime
• A bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field (preferred)
• At least 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience (preferred)
• Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment (preferred)
• Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience (preferred)

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
