Operations Supervisor

About the role

Staci Americas Fulfillment is a fast-growing 3PL seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for our Avondale, AZ location. We want leaders who are passionate about the work and eager to grow with us.

Responsibilities

• Determine space requirements and ensure accurate inventory put-away, relocation, and storage.
• Manage daily work schedules of fulfillment associates to maintain smooth, productive operations.
• Oversee proper operation and maintenance of equipment; ensure a safe, clean working environment.
• Plan and coordinate staffing to meet daily order fulfillment and shipping needs.
• Train staff on safe equipment operation and material-handling equipment maintenance.
• Motivate, evaluate, and coach warehouse staff.
• Manage Shipping/Receiving Clerk and Account Leads.
• Recommend programs to improve warehouse operations to the Operations Manager.
• Interview and recommend associate applicants for hire.
• Manage the 5S of the facility.
• Train and develop hourly associates on safety, MS Office, and organizational protocols.
• Ensure compliance with SOP’s, individual account work instructions, and warehouse processes.
• Learn and utilize AMWARE proprietary WMS.

Requirements

• Three to five (3-5) years of related experience in warehousing, receiving, or inventory control, ideally within a multi-client warehousing environment.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Skills

• Knowledge of warehousing practices and procedures, including receiving and shipping methods, supervision, and accountability.
• Understanding of leadership and work management principles.
• Familiarity with warehouse-related SOP’s, individual account work instructions, and warehouse processes.
• Ability to make recommendations for improving warehouse operations.
• Experience interviewing and recommending associate applicants for hire.
• Proficiency in managing 5S of the facility.
• Strong training and development skills for hourly associates.
• Competency in safety protocols and MS Office.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, demanding warehouse environment.

Pay

$65,000 to $70,000 per year.
