About the role
As a Service Center Operations Supervisor, you will direct the efficient function of plant operations, including production equipment, shipping, receiving, and inventory.
Responsibilities
- Understand production goals and implement actions necessary to meet objectives
- Provide leadership to direct reports; coach and counsel employees
- Facilitate problem-solving and team-building activities
- Participate in the Performance Management Process (PMP)
- Carry out and support company policies, goals, and objectives
- Understand quality goals and implement actions to meet goals and ISO 9000 standards
- Review plant supply inventory and advise purchasing when levels are low
- Ensure training is effectively carried out and oversee completion of training checklists
- Communicate with other departments within the facility, as well as other locations
- Understand customer requirements, participate in, and advise on decisions regarding suitability of material and processing equipment
- Provide direction and coaching in safe work practices; support safety goals
- Review unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are carried out to eliminate workplace hazards
- Follow and enforce CBA and Memorandum of Agreement

Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED is required; College Education preferred
- A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and become proficient in SAP (prior experience not required)
Pay
$64,855.53 - $97,283.29 annually. A starting salary higher than $64,855.53 annually is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements.
