About the role

As a Service Center Operations Supervisor, you will direct the efficient function of plant operations, including production equipment, shipping, receiving, and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Understand production goals and implement actions necessary to meet objectives
• Provide leadership to direct reports; coach and counsel employees
• Facilitate problem-solving and team-building activities
• Participate in the Performance Management Process (PMP)
• Carry out and support company policies, goals, and objectives
• Understand quality goals and implement actions to meet goals and ISO 9000 standards
• Review plant supply inventory and advise purchasing when levels are low
• Ensure training is effectively carried out and oversee completion of training checklists
• Communicate with other departments within the facility, as well as other locations
• Understand customer requirements, participate in, and advise on decisions regarding suitability of material and processing equipment
• Provide direction and coaching in safe work practices; support safety goals
• Review unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are carried out to eliminate workplace hazards
• Follow and enforce CBA and Memorandum of Agreement

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED is required; College Education preferred
• A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and become proficient in SAP (prior experience not required)

Pay

$64,855.53 - $97,283.29 annually. A starting salary higher than $64,855.53 annually is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements.
