Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities
- Reviews inbound appointment log and open order report daily to plan work activities.
- Plans inbound and outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
- Determines staffing needs based on workload and schedules staff accordingly.
- Assigns workers to specific duties based on workload and shipping schedules.
- Reviews and updates operational procedures, ensuring they are communicated and understood by warehouse associates.
- Tracks productivity and qualifies performance by individual, function, and department.
- Works with Inventory Control to ensure the highest level of inventory accuracy.
- Manages department payroll.
- Advises employees on handling items received, stored, and shipped, including methods and equipment use.
- Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records; recommends remedial actions.
- Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
- Issues written and oral instructions.
- Ensures proper safety procedures are followed.
- Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervises 20+ employees in Operations.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work.
- Appraises performance, rewards and disciplines employees, and addresses complaints and resolves problems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Position is full-time and on-site.

Pay
The anticipated starting salary range for this position is $65,000 - $67,000 annually. The final starting salary will be determined based on prevailing market conditions, location, and other factors, in accordance with applicable laws.
