Operations Supervisor

About the role

Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee operations at our facility. The ideal candidate will manage delivery drivers and warehouse staff, handle chemical deliveries, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery drivers and warehouse team
• Order and maintain inventory with coordination of branch manager
• Aid in hiring seasonal staff and supervise all other warehouse staff
• Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, and repairs of facilities and equipment
• Ensure SH&E compliance at the location
• Handle and deliver bulk and packaged chemicals and seed
• Maintain application maintenance records
• Operate small mobile equipment (forklift, frontend loader, etc.)
• Operate computers on equipment
• Dispatch of trucks in compliance with DOT regulations
• Report any safety concerns to the branch manager as soon as they are identified
• Assemble customer orders
• Plan and develop policy, procedures, and ensure team adherence

Requirements

• 2+ years of leadership experience in agriculture or a combination of education and work experience
• College degree preferred
• Proficient use of computer programs, including Excel, Word, Outlook

• Clean driving record

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Knowledge of agricultural practices and safety protocols

Pay

The estimated salary range for this role in Danville, IL is between $51,900 to $76,000. Nutrien is an equal opportunity employer.

Schedule

Details of the benefits package will be shared in the application process. In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
