Operations Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the maintenance and restoration of rented equipment, while managing a team of field operators and technicians. Your primary focus will be ensuring our equipment is well-maintained and our customers receive the highest quality service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of field operators and technicians, ensuring adherence to NOV HSE policies and company guidelines.
• Create and manage work schedules for direct reports, optimizing productivity.
• Train employees on equipment servicing and troubleshooting techniques.
• Conduct field checks to monitor and evaluate job site performance.
• Perform rig surveys and inspections to guarantee proper equipment setup and safety.
• Maintain regular communication with customer representatives to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee the training and career development of operators and technicians.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and billing processes.
• Communicate upcoming work to shop personnel.
• Actively engage with customers to provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in solids control equipment is essential.
• Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to assign and review daily tasks effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

Skills

• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, Teams, OneNote, and OneDrive.
• Understanding of electrical diagrams and troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge of VFD programming.
