The Operations Supervisor leads daily warehouse and distribution center operations, ensuring products are received, processed, and shipped safely, accurately, and on time. This role supervises a team of associates, drives productivity, and supports a culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. What You Will Do Lead and support daily warehouse operations to meet productivity, quality, and service goalsSupervise, train, coach, and develop warehouse associatesCreate daily work plans and adjust staffing based on operational needsMonitor performance metrics, including productivity, accuracy, and workflow efficiencyIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costsEnsure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsInvestigate and resolve operational issues, inventory discrepancies, and service concernsPartner with inventory, transportation, quality, and operations teams to ensure smooth workflowConduct team meetings, communicate goals, and provide performance feedbackMaintain operational records, staffing reports, and performance documentationSupport warehouse management system (WMS) processes and operational reportingPromote a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment Basic Requirements Typically requires 3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilitiesHigh School Diploma or GED3+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain operations1+ year of leadership experience in a supervisor, lead, or team leadership roleExperience managing employee performance, productivity, and workflowExperience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and WordAbility to work in a fast-paced warehouse environmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift Preferred Skills / Experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related fieldExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical supply, or regulated distribution environmentsKnowledge of inventory control and warehouse best practicesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExperience leading process improvement initiativesStrong communication and employee development skills Work Environment On-site role in a fast-paced distribution centerMonday – Friday, 3:00 AM – 12:30 PMFrequent standing, walking, lifting, and movement throughout the facilityCollaborative environment focused on safety, quality, and operational excellenceOvertime and schedule flexibility may be required based on business needsLeadership role supporting warehouse operations and customer service objectives Why Join Us? The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
