About the role

The Operations Supervisor at Kenco Logistics is responsible for overseeing the warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include scheduling, monitoring workflow, managing inventory, and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

  • Determine work volume, prepare schedules, and manage workflow to optimize efficiency.
  • Assign duties, inspect work, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Schedule periodic and special inventories, oversee accurate shipping of outbound orders, and issue instructions as needed.
  • Maintain associate accountability and monitor zoning and product database development during receiving.
  • Mentor and coach associates, conduct performance evaluations, and assist in process improvements.
  • Assist in safety initiatives and participate in the Safety Committee.
  • Perform training on policies, procedures, and Standard Works.
  • Handle miscellaneous tasks as directed by the General Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or related field.
  • Minimum of six months supervisory experience.
  • PC and computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Travel Requirements

This position requires approximately 25% travel. A passport is recommended but not required.
