Operations Supervisor

About the role

Kellanova is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead their night shift (5pm - 5am) production team in their Cary, NC plant. In this critical role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring seamless production, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities on your assigned shift working towards production goals, material changes, and schedules.
• Provide direction and support to your team of operators.
• Ensure a “safety first” attitude and maintain a culture of accountability and execution.
• Drive continuous improvement through an owner’s mindset and implementing 5S, RCA, and LEAN practices.

Requirements

• Demonstrate knowledge of managing safety and/or quality programs and processes.
• High school diploma or GED with substantial related proven leadership and supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work evenings.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of successful project management and leadership.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.

Skills

• Leadership and supervisory experience.

• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Pay

The annual salary range is $76,160 - $99,960, based on various factors such as location, experience, and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
