Operations Supervisor

This position is expected to work out of our office at 3458 Enterprise Ave. in Hayward and some job-related travel may be required.
About the Role
GreenWaste is seeking an Operations Supervisor to provide support to one or more facilities. Through the guidance and direction of the Operations Manager, the Operations Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operation of the facility and the team.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise a team of five to ten employees.
- Organize, monitor, and prioritize tasks for the team.
- Troubleshoot and maintain the anaerobic digestion and support systems in an operable manner.
- Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly site inspections.
- Evaluate workflow and monitor the control system to ensure operational efficiency.
- Organize and distribute training and educational material for the team.
- Review safety requirements with the team and enforce safety policies.
- Monitor and oversee special projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Two (2) or more years of supervision in production manufacturing or a related field.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
Skills
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
- Ability to work well with other employees in a team environment and communicate to ensure safety.
- Project management.
- Must be able to learn specific company software used and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle conflict and engage in problem resolution.
Physical Demands
- Ability to physically push, pull, and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment
- Hours: Monday-Saturday 7AM - 3:30PM.
- Mandatory overtime.
- Typical work week is Monday through Friday, but this position may require work hours beyond the Monday through Friday shift.
- Will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and odors/smells.
- Schedule may vary including early start times and weekend work.
Pay
$95K-$110K annually.
