Job Responsibilities
- Demonstrates and promotes a safe work environment at all times
- Insures drivers have the daily paperwork necessary to complete their routes
- Insures completed charter paperwork is received by the Location Manager for processing
- Congntrates field trips by the assignment of personnel and vehicles
- Coordinates route descriptions with drivers under the direction of the Location Manager
- Coordinates scheduled fueling and mechanical work with drivers
- Observes safety practices of personnel and takes corrective action when necessary
- Assists Location Manager during training sessions and kick-off meetings
- Attends disciplinary meetings with the Location Manager
- Maintains communication with school officials on routine matters
- Manages small locations under the overall direction of the Location Manager
- Ensures routes meet state, local, and vendor requirements
- Reviews time sheets prior to submission to payroll
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in transportation industry
- Good supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Computer skills
Subject to DOT drug testing and physical.
DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
Pay
$50,000-55,000/yr, depending upon experience
Schedule
Monday through Friday, day shift (on call weekends 3 times a year)
