About the role
The Operations Supervisor serves as the primary operational leader for field-based mobile imaging technologists, technologist assistants, and route drivers. This position supports employees and customers by coordinating the activities of assigned mobile and fixed-site imaging routes, ensuring effective service delivery and operational efficiency.
Location: Office-based role located on-site at our West Fargo corporate headquarters, 728 East Beaton Drive, Suite 101 or Sioux Falls location, 109 S Petro Ave.
Responsibilities
- Direct, coordinate, assign, schedule, and review the work of assigned staff to ensure quality customer service.
- Ensure staffing levels are maintained, approve time off, confirm routes have proper coverage, and process biweekly payroll and expense reporting.
- Onboard and train newly hired staff members.
- Follow established protocols and procedures required for a safe and compliant work environment.
- Develop and manage relationships with customers; proactively identify opportunities for improvement, address concerns, and implement solutions to increase customer and employee satisfaction.
- Analyze the efficiency of operations and audit quality improvement and patient care measures to ensure compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Operations Management, Radiologic Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent work-related experience.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or team coordination experience with the ability to effectively coach, mentor, and support geographically dispersed employees.
- Exceptional time management, organizational, relationship management, critical thinking, and verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- PC proficiency using a variety of software packages and computer navigation.
- Strong accuracy and detail orientation with the ability to work well independently with limited direct supervision.
- Ability to handle difficult situations, remain calm under stress, manage emotional situations, display empathy, and maintain positive communication during a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to analyze operational data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Flexibility to work outside of traditional business hours as needed.
