Operations Supervisor
About the role
Under the general direction of Operational Program Leadership, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day activities including the staff that supports the program. The supervisor will assist the manager in meeting the client contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
- Monitors employee job performance to ensure that all necessary tasks are completed in accordance with specifications and deadlines
- Conducts performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports
- Assists with the coaching of staff
- Provides day-to-day instructions to team members on job responsibilities
- Helps associates resolve work-related issues
- Assists with the hiring and termination process
- Assists with the development of program training documents
- Ensures open communication with the staff
- Proactively identifies program issues and proposes ways to address concerns
- Maintains positive rapport with internal and external customers
- Understands contract obligations
- Assists in the development of project task plans and standard operating procedures
- Analyzes reports for trends and gives recommendations
- Reports all Adverse Events (AE) disclosed in alignment with training and Standard Operational Procedures (SOP)
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance, including being present, on time, and prepared for work as scheduled
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a reimbursement HUB, specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, physician’s office, or healthcare setting
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous 1+ years supervisory experience is required
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to provide a climate for motivation and support
- Ability to appropriately delegate tasks

$57,000-$65,000 per year
