Operations Supervisor- Ace of Spades

About the role

Live Nation’s Concerts Division fosters a fun, upbeat work culture with opportunities across touring, ticketing, venue operations, marketing, and sales. This role works directly with the Ops Manager and Security Supervisor to perform day-of-show duties in a fast-paced, live music environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to elevated staff and guest inquiries regarding shows, artist meet-and-greet packages, amenities (including Foundry access), VIP programs, and seat upgrades.
• Address and resolve guest concerns and complaints related to security and customer service.
• Follow up with Security and Guest Services teams to ensure service standards are met.
• Perform opening, running, and closing duties according to Live Nation policy.
• Inform guests of venue amenities and make recommendations.
• Maintain line of sight and atmosphere control by circulating through the work area and reporting issues.
• Engage in suggestive selling of venue products and services when applicable.
• Stay current on Standard Operating Procedures and communicate them effectively to team members.
• Create pre-shift sheets and relay management information directly to staff.
• Turn in all lost and found articles to the Box Office.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service per training and Live Nation alcohol policies.
• Maintain proper line of sight for all staff at guest contact points and secure Back of House areas.
• Lead pre-shift meetings prior to the start of each shift.
• Communicate guest or team member issues to the Manager on Duty (M.O.D.).
• Work with the M.O.D. to resolve guest issues; escalate to management if necessary.
• Complete incident reports and collect witness statements.
• Assist with ejection logs and incident reports.
• Work Special Events scheduled throughout the venue.

Requirements

• Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of high-volume nightclub operations, responsible alcohol service, and guest relations.
• Skills in guest and staff relations, including assessing and anticipating guest needs.
• Ability to prioritize duties, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and communicate effectively with an upbeat attitude.
• Ability to read guests and anticipate their needs, turning potentially negative situations into positive ones.
• Strong communication with team members and managers to foster unity and camaraderie.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a live music environment.
• College diploma in a related field.

• Ability to lift or move up to 40 lbs using proper lifting techniques.

Pay

• Colorado: $17.60 USD - $22.00 USD hourly.
• California: $17.60 USD - $22.00 USD hourly.
