About the Opportunity
The Operations Specialist Senior executes complex and moderate-to-high-risk financial transactions within the investment operations team. This role ensures transaction accuracy, adherence to policies, and effective risk mitigation while serving as an escalation point for complex cases. The position also contributes to process improvements, customer support, and employee training, directly supporting operational efficiency and service quality.
Responsibilities
- Execute complex financial transactions and operational processes in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Manage exceptions and serve as an escalation point for complex or high-risk transactions.
- Collaborate with internal service partners and external customers to complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all required documentation is available and properly maintained for transactions.
- Provide consultation and guidance to internal and external customers regarding products, services, and transaction processes.
- Review existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Participate in risk mitigation activities and support compliance with established controls.
- Assist with training and onboarding new employees.
- Support operational initiatives and other assigned activities as needed.
Requirements
- University or college degree, or a comparable combination of education, certification, and experience.
- Less than 1 year of professional experience or successful completion of a formal development program.
- Strong accountability, customer service, compliance, initiative, process improvement, results orientation, and risk mitigation skills.
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and follow established processes.
- Knowledge of financial products and services preferred.
- Ability to work designated shifts and occasional minor holidays.
Pay
Base salary range: $41,250–$82,500 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors.
