Operations Specialist Lead

Full-time position (40 hrs/week) at West Omaha Satellite Clinic (120th & I).

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with some evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients, their families, and visitors at the satellite location.
• Answer questions, provide information on services, and direct people to the correct location while promoting a hospitable and efficient atmosphere.
• Schedule appointments, pull and prepare medical charts, and maintain smooth patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Receive medical records, place them into the patient’s chart, complete the patient support template, and enter results.
• Promptly and professionally answer incoming telephone calls, identify the caller's needs, correctly enter information in the database, and efficiently route the call.
• Greet visitors and patients upon arrival, ascertain their needs, and direct them accordingly.
• Help patients complete registration forms.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure the patient understands the treatment plan and financial resources.
• Help patients complete financial applications.
• Serve as an advocate for patients and OneWorld Community Health Centers.
• Interpret for non-English speaking patients during medical visits.
• Assist patients and visitors by obtaining wheelchairs or other services as needed.
• Escort patients who need help to their destination on campus.
