Operations Specialist

Position Summary

Wurth Wood Group, a leading supplier of hardwood lumber, plywood, molding, cabinet hardware/supplies, laminate, and building supplies, is seeking an experienced Operations Specialist for the Norfolk, VA branch. The ideal candidate has managerial experience, is hard‑working, organized, self‑directed, and customer‑service oriented. This is a manual‑labor, full‑time hourly position with biweekly pay, offering solid benefits and strong earning potential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Correctly store products in appropriate bin locations.
• Accurately pull product according to customer order.
• Use proper procedures for loading and unloading trucks.
• Perform any other requirements to effectively fulfill functions of the warehouse.

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lb.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
• Must be able to work overtime and variable shift/hours.
• Demonstrated ability with Warehouse Management Software.
• Proven ability to manage detail on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to interface with customers and employees, fostering excellent communication skills and customer service.
• Follow all items as laid out in the Operations Manual and job description.
• Able to be forklift certified.

Pay
