Operations Specialist

About the role

Tracks and traces all shipments, ensuring accuracy, customer’s expectations are met, and vendors are delivering on their commitment to Candor Expedite.

Enters and ensures all carrier documentation is received for new carrier setups and updates any existing partner profiles as needed.

Ensures that all carrier partners adhere to all federal guidelines in reference to all FMSCA and DOT requirements.

Ensures all customer orders are released for invoicing via Candor’s TMS in a timely and accurate manner.

Ensures all rate confirmations and rate agreements are compliant.

Understands transportation optimization techniques including mode selection, freight consolidation, load building, and efficient routing.

Oversees carriers accountability for proof of delivery, capacity, driver information, truck and trailer requirements, tracking acceptance and service commitments.

Develops effective long-term relationships with carrier drivers, shippers, consignees, and teammates.

Collaborates with account managers and carrier sales to ensure customer satisfaction is upheld.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience managing multiple clients, projects and/or teams to achieve a high service level.
• A basic understanding of freight, shipping & transportation, supply chain, and client service related to the industry.
