Operations Specialist
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical inventory counts at customer locations, branch facilities, and warehouses, ensuring inventory accuracy and proper documentation.
- Utilize RF scanners, inventory management software, and computer systems to track inventory movements, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
- Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming products and supplies, ensuring proper product rotation and inventory control procedures.
- Monitor product expiration dates and assist with inventory audits to maintain product quality and compliance standards.
- Absorb and transport daily orders onto delivery vehicles, verify order contents, and maintain organization.
- Transport operational documents, reports, and other business materials between branch locations as required.
- Perform general administrative duties including data entry, filing, record maintenance, report preparation, and completion of operational paperwork.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and other business software to support daily operations.
- Operate pallet jacks and other approved warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness through sweeping, organizing inventory, removing trash, and supporting overall facility upkeep.
- Support additional operational, warehouse, inventory, and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse and office environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience using RF scanners, inventory systems, warehouse management software, or computerized inventory programs preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to accurately complete paperwork and maintain records.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) as required by FMCSA regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., perform bending, walking, driving, and standing for extended periods, and safely operate pallet jacks and warehouse equipment.
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and commitment to workplace safety.
