Job Responsibilities
- Responding to client inquiries: Responsible for responding to client inquiries for new, renewal, and endorsement processes.
- Assess the needs of the client and act as advisor or processor, depending on the request.
- Licensed to fill the advisory capacity required for the role.
- Create financial transactions (both automated and manual) to debit / credit policy accounts.
- Problem solve to determine the correct premium or processing steps required based on the customer’s request.
- Assist with user support, training of colleagues, system testing, and the implementation of process or system changes.
- Report daily, requiring running queries or tracking production and consolidating excel data into a viewable format.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned, supporting process improvement and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 2+ years of office or administrative work experience.
- Prior Insurance industry work experience preferred.
- Excellent reading comprehension and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with PC applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, and Teams.
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and customer service focus.
- Demonstrated use of sound judgment skills with solid decision-making abilities.
- Ability to multi-task and independently prioritize work.
- Strong independent problem-solving skills and ability to follow established procedures and guidelines.
- Basic Math Skills, including accurate computation and reconciliation.
Qualifications
- Property and Casualty license preferred.
- To obtain the P&C license within 6 months of hire date.
