About the role
The Operations Site Lead assists in overseeing operations, acts as a liaison between Transdev Management and employees, and ensures efficient delivery of client missions.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Transdev’s high standard of safety
- Communicate with management, clients, engineers, and the public
- Record and communicate delays in service, handle accidents or breakdowns appropriately, and investigate and complete accident reports
- Monitor and document employee absence and tardiness
- Conduct pre-brief and debrief meetings, and communicate with the team
- Coordinate, monitor, and supervise subordinates, and report operational/personnel problems to management
- Ensure compliance with process standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality of all information
- Ensure timely shift start and efficient vehicle deployment
- Cover day-to-day operational needs in case of call outs or staff shortages
- Maintain Transdev managed fleet of vehicles by managing day-to-day maintenance, procurement of supplies, and vendor relationships
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Proficiency with touchscreen smartphones and computers
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret system operating rules, regulations, policies, phases, and routes
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement
- Experience leading teams to a successful conclusion
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Punctuality, reliability, and teamwork skills
- Ability to type at least 40 adjusted wpm
Qualifications
- Associates degree (or equivalent job experience)
- One year of Autonomous Vehicle Operations experience
- Experience with program management tools and Google Workspace
- Experience in vendor relationship management
- Experience leading teams to a successful conclusion
