About the Opportunity
The Operations Site Lead will step into a highly critical, high-impact field engineering and asset management role designed to serve as the primary face of the organization across network operations. This position is responsible for interfacing directly with wireless carriers, engineering vendors, and commercial landowners to protect and optimize infrastructure value. The role charges the lead with ensuring near-perfect asset telemetry and data integrity while managing complex preventative maintenance and emergency structural repairs within a designated geographic territory, directly sustaining the operational uptime of critical communication networks.
Responsibilities
- Take complete operational ownership of data harvesting and engineering audits across assigned tower assets, ensuring absolute data quality and structural compliance
- Deploy and utilize cutting-edge physical data collection technologies, including operating Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS / drones) for advanced aerial asset inspections
- Partner dynamically across cross-functional engineering, property management, and legal departments to orchestrate lifecycle maintenance, capital improvements, and structural repairs for a diverse set of infrastructure assets
- Serve as the primary, frontline strategic representative in the field, managing high-touch relationships and resolving operational challenges with customers, technical vendors, and property landowners
Requirements
- Proven professional experience operating within field operations, telecommunications engineering, structural inspection, or industrial asset management
- Technical skill sets in physical data collection methodologies, including hands-on experience or certifications in operating modern field technology and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)
- Strong collaborative capabilities required to manage multiple competing asset priorities simultaneously while working seamlessly across decentralized corporate departments
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to navigate challenging, real-time negotiations and technical problem-solving with land owners and field vendors
