Operations Research Analyst 3
About the role
The Operations Research Analyst will analyze management and operational problems and formulate mathematical or simulation models of problems for solution by computers or other methods. They will define data requirements, gather and validate information, apply judgment and statistical tests, verify and test models, prepare reports defining the problem, evaluation, and possible solutions, assist in evaluating implementation and effectiveness of research, assist in the design, conduct and evaluation of operational models where limited data exists, develop technical trainings, conduct data elicitation sessions, and project scoping meetings as needed. The analyst will also prepare summary briefings describing project problem statements, modeling approaches, and proposed solutions, and participate in regular customer engagement.

- Prepare reports defining the problem, evaluation, and possible solutions.
- Afford assistance in evaluating implementation and effectiveness of research.
- Afford assistance in the design, conduct and evaluation of operational models where limited data exists.
- Develop technical trainings to help enrich the skills set of the client personnel as well as help support other project teams.
- Conduct data elicitation sessions and project scoping meetings as needed.
- Prepare summary briefings that describe project problem statements, modeling approaches, and proposed solutions.
- Participate in regular customer engagement.
