Position Summary
The Senior Analyst provides deeper analytical support for labor optimization and operational performance. This role leads complex analysis, forecasting, scenario modeling, and labor framework development while serving as a thought partner to cross-functional leaders.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead advanced analysis related to labor efficiency, overtime, staffing, scheduling adherence, productivity, and operational performance.
- Develop and refine labor models, forecasting tools, and scenario analyses that support strategic decision-making.
- Translate trends and variances into business implications, action plans, and recommendations.
- Serve as a subject matter resource for metrics, business logic, and analytical methods within the function.
- Coach less-experienced analysts on reporting design, quality checks, and business storytelling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced coursework or experience in analytics, finance, economics, or operations is preferred.
- 4–7 years of progressive experience in analytics, labor analysis, workforce planning, finance, or operational strategy.
- Strong SQL, Power BI, and Excel capabilities preferred.
- Experience building forecasting tools, analytical frameworks, or business cases.
- Ability to present insights and recommendations to leadership audiences.
