Operations Project Manager
About the role
The Operations Project Manager is responsible for leading and executing high-priority initiatives that drive operational and strategic outcomes. This role partners closely with leaders to shape, advance, and deliver complex, often ambiguous work, while applying project management discipline to ensure effective execution and results.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Leads and manages strategic initiatives by applying appropriate project management practices such as tasks, time, resources, and people through the end-to-end project lifecycle
- PARTNERS ACROSS FUNCTIONAL AREAS TO DEVELOP BUSINESS CASES, PROJECT PLANS, TASK LISTS, DATA COLLECTION PLANS AND APPROACHES FOR COMPLEX AMBIGUOUS INITIATIVES
- Tracks and reports progress on projects and strategic initiatives
- Understands the holistic nature of each project and ensures the inclusion of all functional areas affected
- BUILDS AND MAINTAINS EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH A WIDE RANGE OF PEOPLE, INCLUDING PROJECT SPONSORS, PROJECT OWNERS, SENIOR LEADERSHIP, STAKEHOLDERS, AND VENDORS
- QUANTIFIES COST AND BENEFITS FOR EACH PROJECT AND HELPS PRIORITIZE PROJECTS WITH THE GREATEST RETURN ON INVESTMENT
Pay
The targeted pay range for this job is $90,000 - $100,000 per year. Ecumen considers a variety of factors when determining new hire pay including experience, qualifications, and, when applicable, certifications, licenses, and education.

Work Location
Ability to work in a hybrid environment with up to 2 days a week in our Shoreview, Minnesota office
Operations Project Manager Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Leadership, Project Management, or related field
- Three (3) years of experience in healthcare operations, strategic initiatives, project management or related field.
- Experience with value-based care and population health.
- Experience working in a role that requires leading, facilitating and executing projects
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to develop and maintain productive relationships
- Demonstrates initiative
- Able to prioritize and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate good judgment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Experience in senior healthcare operations
